You're right, Goons would take comments like "savage" and "racist" as compliments. I know a Goon IRL. He's... annoying to say the least, but very intelligent (hard to believe, but true). He annoys others intentionally, with full knowledge of the consequences. Much of what most of the Goons do to gain their hated reputation in EVE is totally intentional, and they throw respect out the window in exchange for what is fun to them: being a nuisance and having a ball messing with others. Goonswarm is like an alliance of 3,000 griefers and maybe 500+ others. I guess the OP is either one of those 500+ others, or he's one of the 3,000 in which he truly IS loyal to Goonswarm and this is just another attempt at confusing us in a grand scheme of EVE-wide griefing. In which case: awesome, dude. :D You totally got me.

Most Goons are griefers at heart, and I have to admit I love them for that. If I wasn't so scared for my precious EVE character's life and I wasn't so squeemish about hurting other people's feelings, I'd try joining Goonswarm. They're a pretty awesome bunch of guys, albeit racist, crude, immoral, and annoying. But still, an awesome bunch of guys. :D

No one makes fun of Goons quite as well as other Goons. That said, Goons don't hold anything sacred. Did I mention I <3 Goons? Well, I do. :D

Goons are griefing EVE, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. I think it is awesome that Goonswarm exists. The gigantic blobs, the griefing, the lolz: EVE just wouldn't be the same without it. In fact, EVE might actually become SERIOUS without Goons around. *gasp* I know, hard to believe, taking games seriously. Who does such a silly thing? :D

Apparently people who are confused about why goons are posting in here forget that goons love to annoy you and me. What better way to annoy people than to do things that make no sense? :D Rhyme and reason can take a hike. Screw facts and logic, and just have a ball! I am not the least bit offended by offensive material, but I'm certainly offended by attacks against people who say offensive things. D:
